We kindly ask you to take a moment to carefully read these terms and conditions.
This section, along with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, provides you with information about us, as well as the legal terms and conditions (Terms) under which we offer and you may purchase entry tickets and other services (Services) listed on our website (Site). These services include but are not limited to memberships, animal adoptions, animal encounter days, gift vouchers, and special events.
These Terms will be applicable to any agreement between us for the provision of Services to you (Contract). We urge you to thoroughly review these Terms and ensure your understanding of them before placing an order for any Services from our Site.
By finalizing an order on our Site, you are demonstrating acceptance of these Terms. If you decline to accept these Terms, you will be unable to procure any Services from our Site.
It is advisable to print a copy of these Terms or store them digitally for your future reference.
We reserve the right to make amendments to these Terms periodically as outlined in clause 20 (Our Right to Vary These Terms). Every time you wish to order our Services, please review these Terms to ensure you comprehend the terms which will be applicable at that time. The most recent update of these Terms was on 1 May 2023.
These Terms, and any Contract between us, are solely available in the English language.
INFORMATION ABOUT US
1.1 We run the website www.peakwildlifepark.co.uk. We are BB Zoo ltd trading as Peak Wildlife Park, a company registered in England and Wales with our registered office at Hamilton House, Hamilton Terrace, Milford Haven SA73 3JP. Our main trading address is at Peak Wildlife Park, Winkhill, Leek, Staffordshire, ST13 7QR (the Park). Our registered company number is 09121878. Our VAT number is 222780618.

HOW THE CONTRACT IS FORMED BETWEEN YOU AND US
2.1 Our order process enables you to review and amend any mistakes before submitting your order to us. We encourage you to take the time to read and verify your order at each stage of the order process. If you need to make changes to your order or the provided information after you have already placed an order, please contact us on 01538 308 880. However, please note that we cannot assure that we will be able to accommodate any request changes at this point.
2.2 When you place an order through our Site, this represents your offer to purchase the items displayed in your shopping cart.
2.3 After you place an order, you will be given an order reference number, which you should keep. You will then receive an email from us acknowledging that your order is being processed. However, this does not indicate acceptance of your order. Our acceptance of your order will occur as described in clause 2.4 below.
2.4 We will confirm our acceptance by sending you an email that includes your barcoded e-ticket (where applicable), confirms the cost of your order, any delivery or postal charges, and any estimated date of dispatch, along with other essential information (Confirmation). The Contract between us will be formed once your order is complete and payment has been taken from your card.
2.5 It's advisable to print and keep your Confirmation email in case you need to contact us about your order.
NON-CANCELLATION
3. Please be aware that once you have placed an order on our Site, you are unable to cancel your order and all Services on our Site are non-refundable except in extraordinary circumstances. However, if you are dissatisfied with any physical items or goods we have provided to you as part of any Service ordered on our Site, you may return and obtain a refund in accordance with clause 16 (Our Assurance and Warranty).
3.1 Flexible Booking – If you have purchased the ‘Flexible Booking’ you are entitled to change your booking to a different date of your choosing within a 12-month period in line with these terms. Reschedule requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance (i.e., the day before) of the original date of visit. The ‘Flexible Booking’ entitles guests to one date change per booking. No refunds will be made on the 'Flexible Booking’.
TICKETS
4.1 All entry tickets purchased on our Site allow the holder to access Peak Wildlife Park in accordance with these Terms.
4.2 The prices for all tickets are quoted on our Site and must be paid in advance at the time of booking. Please note, these prices apply only to purchases made through our Site.
4.3 The following definitions apply to ticket purchases on our Site:
(a) Adult refers to an individual aged 17 years or older;
(b) Carer denotes a person assisting a Disabled individual with necessary support and Park accessibility;
(c) Child refers to a person aged 2 to 16 years, inclusive;
(d) Concession applies to a Student or a Senior Citizen 65 and over;
(e) Disability indicates a physical or mental impairment causing substantial and long-term negative effects on a person's ability to perform daily activities, as per the Equality Act 2010. Disabled shall be interpreted accordingly;
(f) Group denotes a gathering of 15 or more individuals, encompassing Adults, Children, Senior Citizens, and Students;
(g) Student is a person in full-time education, possessing a valid and current student identification card.
(h) Educational Establishments include Ofsted-registered early years settings such as child-minders, nurseries, and pre-schools, as well as primary and secondary schools, whether local authority, community, religious, free schools, academies, sixth form colleges, independently run schools, and home education for school-aged children.
4.4 Open Tickets are valid for a single entry to Peak Wildlife Park until the date quoted on the Confirmation.
4.5 Advance Tickets are valid for entry to the Park only on the chosen date.
4.6 Gift tickets are valid for one date within a 12-month period from the Confirmation receipt date.
4.7 Regular admission or gift tickets as mentioned in clause 5 do not grant entry to any Special Events.
4.8 Discounts may apply to specific ticket types, as stated on our Site. If you purchase a discounted ticket, you must present a valid proof of eligibility at the Park's entrance.
4.9 Visitors with Disabilities can admit one carer to the Park free of charge upon presenting a valid proof such as a a letter from the Department for Work and Pensions with a photo ID. Further information on accessibility for Disabled visitors can be found on our Site.
4.10 Children under the age of 2 are permitted free entry to the Park.
4.11 If you have selected a specific visit date when purchasing your ticket, and we cannot accommodate you on that date for reasons other than non-compliance with these Terms, we will strive to agree on an alternative date. If this is not possible, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and refund the ticket price.
4.12 Upon receipt of booking Confirmation, your e-ticket will be dispatched to the email address provided during booking (except for gift tickets – see clause 4.13). Please print the e-ticket and bring it with you during your Park visit. Alternatively, you can scan your e-ticket from your smartphone at the entrance.
4.13 If physical Gift tickets are purchased these will be dispatched to the specified address within approximately 3 – 5 working days. We are not liable for any delivery delays post-dispatch. It is your responsibility to provide accurate information before making a purchase. We are only responsible for issuing tickets in line with the details you provide at the time of booking.
4.14 Unless otherwise stated in these Terms, all tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable. Resale of tickets to third parties is prohibited. Any tickets that have been tampered with will be considered void. Except in the unlikely event of a total closure of Peak Wildlife Park where clause 5.11 applies, we are unable to refund any tickets in the case of adverse weather conditions or any other unforeseeable events beyond our reasonable control as per clause 25 (Events Outside Our Control).
PARKING AND ENTRY
5.1 Peak Wildlife Park offers free parking for its visitors. However, use of our parking area is at your own risk. Peak Wildlife Park will not accept liability for any accidents, damages, or losses incurred.
5.2 All visitors to the Park must pay for entry, hold a valid admission ticket, voucher, or Membership card which must be kept at all times and made available for inspection if requested by our security personnel. Anyone found within the Park without a valid admission ticket, voucher, or Membership card may be requested to leave the Park premises without delay.
5.3 Entry to the Park will only be granted up until half an hour before the Park's closing time (refer to clause 7 for Operating Hours and Availability).
5.4 No child under the age of 14 years will be allowed entry to the Park unless they are accompanied by an adult who is 18 years or older. All children must remain under the control or supervision of an adult at all times while on the Park premises.
5.5 Pets, including dogs, are not allowed in the Park. Exceptions are made for guide dogs and other assistance dogs which are allowed in certain areas of the Park. If you plan to visit the Park with an assistance dog, please contact us in advance and we will provide a trail map upon your arrival, which outlines the route you should follow. 5.6 Peak Wildlife Park reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to deny entry to the Park, ban future entry, or escort from the Park premises any person who violates the Park regulations as outlined in clause 8 (Park Regulations).
5.7 Entry to the Park is granted under the condition that, if asked, you will allow yourself and/or your belongings to be searched by our staff.
5.8 Once admitted, re-entry to the Park is not permitted without our approval.
SPECIAL OFFERS AND DISCOUNTS
6.1 Any special offers or discounts extended by third-party entities are subject to the terms and conditions provided by those entities. We recommend you carefully review these, including any expiration dates, before purchasing any tickets or other services from our Site to ensure that any voucher or discount code is valid.
6.2 Many discounts are redeemable solely at the Peak Wildlife Park's admission gate and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
6.3 Peak Wildlife Park is not involved in, and will not become involved in, or be liable for any third party’s terms and conditions of promotion or any disputes arising out of them.
6.4 We retain the right to refuse any promotional voucher or discount code for any reason at our discretion.
OPERATING HOURS AND AVAILABILITY
7.1 Details of our operating hours throughout the year can be found here.
7.2 Peak Wildlife Park strives to ensure the maximum number of exhibits and attractions are available to visitors at all times. However, without prior notice and without refund or compensation, we may need to adjust the operating hours, temporarily close the park or parts of it, move some animals off display, limit the number of visitors, or suspend or cancel any attraction or entertainment programme. These changes may be due to reasons including, but not limited to, park capacity, adverse weather conditions, special events, animal safety and welfare, visitor safety, or other circumstances that necessitate such changes.
7.3 Peak Wildlife Park is not responsible or liable for events beyond our reasonable control where we need to take the actions described above.
PARK RULES
8.1 Peak Wildlife Park reserves the right to refuse entry, prohibit future entry, or escort off the premises any individual who while on the premises:
a. Engages in threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour or acts in a way that could provoke a breach of peace or disrupt our animals.
b. Brings into the park or possesses offensive weapons or dangerous items.
c. Fails to follow written or verbal health and safety instructions for each area or attraction, or behaves in a way that could endanger their safety, the safety of other visitors, or animals.
d. Feeds or attempts to feed any animals, unless such feeding is part of an organized event or experience for which they have valid admission.
e. Consumes alcoholic beverages in unauthorized areas, brings alcoholic beverages into the park, possesses alcoholic beverages, or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs or substances.
f. Behaves in a way that, in our opinion, affects or is likely to affect the enjoyment of other visitors.
8.2 Climbing or standing on fences, barriers, walls, structures, or buildings on the premises is strictly forbidden.
8.3 The use of bicycles, scooters, roller skates, rollerblades, skateboards, or any similar items is prohibited on the premises. The following are allowed:
a. Child ride-along equipment fitted with a secure adult-height control handle. The supervising adult assumes all responsibility for ensuring the safe use of the equipment without causing distress, injury, or nuisance to other visitors or our staff.
b. Bicycles and other wheeled equipment used by our staff as part of their employment duties.
8.4 Clothing that we deem offensive to other visitors is not permitted within the park. Shoes and shirts/tops must be worn at all times.
8.5 Only those individuals or organizations authorized by us are permitted to sell or offer for sale any goods or services to visitors on the premises.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDING
9.1 On occasion, we and authorized third parties may take photographs and/or video recordings within the park, including the car parks and surrounding areas, which may feature visitors. By accepting these Terms, you agree that Peak Wildlife Park or any authorized third party may use such images in perpetuity for any promotional or publicity material in any format. You also agree that all copyright and any other intellectual property rights that subsist in or arise out of these materials shall be absolutely owned by us or such authorized third party.
9.2 Any photographs and/or video or other image recordings that you take while on the premises (Images) are deemed to be for personal, non-commercial use only. Filming and/or photography for public broadcast, commercial purposes, training or student projects are strictly prohibited without our express prior written agreement. For the purposes of this clause, "public broadcast" refers to transmitting images to a group of more than 10 people at one time, including by radio or television. Please contact us for further information in this regard.
9.3 For clarity, this clause does not prevent you from uploading personal Images to social media websites for personal sharing purposes only.
MEMBERSHIPS
10.1 By acquiring a membership for Peak Wildlife Park (Membership), you are accepting the conditions outlined in this section 10.
10.2 Any Memberships procured via our Website grant the holder unrestricted complimentary entry to the Wildlife Park during normal operational hours (refer to clause 7 (Operational Hours and Availability)) for a duration of 12 months, starting from the date you receive affirmation as per clause 2.4 (Formation of the Contract Between Us), or any other date mutually agreed upon. Membership holders are allowed entry to the Wildlife Park subject to these Terms.
10.3 The perks and cost of Membership packages are as listed on our Website periodically. We retain the right to modify or decrease the perks connected to any Membership package at any point. Membership package prices are in compliance with clause 19 (Cost of Services and Delivery/Postal Charges) and must be paid upfront at the time of reservation as per clause 19.6.
10.4 For the intent of Membership purchases, the following definitions utilized on our Website will apply:
(a) Adult refers to an individual aged 17 years and above;
(b) Child Membership refers to Membership for a child aged from 2 years to 16 years inclusive;
(c) Student Membership refers to Membership for an Adult who is in full time education and possesses a valid and current identity card showing their student status at the time of entry.
(d) Senior Membership refers to Membership for an Adult who is over the age of 65 years old and holds a valid and current identity card which shows their age at the time of entry.
10.5 All Members will be provided with a digital membership (one per person) which will be sent to you via email and accessible via your account. Memberships are solely for the named card holder and are non-transferrable. A photo of the membership holder must be uploaded to the account in order to validate the membership.
10.6 Members will only be allowed entry to the Wildlife Park during normal operational hours without needing to pay the full current ticket admission price upon presenting a valid Membership. Any Membership cards which have been altered in any manner will be deemed void. Membership cards remain our property at all times. A £2.95 administrative fee will be charged for the replacement of any lost or stolen Membership cards.
10.7 Memberships do not grant entry to any special events (refer to clause 16 (Special Events).
10.8 We retain the right to deny applications for Membership or Membership renewals at our discretion.
10.9 Once you have fulfilled 12 months of Membership and at the end of every subsequent 12-month period, we will contact you offering the choice of renewing your Membership for an additional 12-month period to begin consecutively. Various payment plan options will be provided, including direct debit which will be subject to additional terms and conditions.
10.10 Discounts may be applicable to one or more Membership packages (including for Members 65 years old and over and Students) and will be as stated on our Website periodically. If you are procuring a discounted rate Membership, you will be required to provide us with proof of eligibility at the point of collecting your Membership card (for example, photographic identification such as a passport or driving licence, pension booklet or NUS card).
10.11 Members with disabilities can admit one carer to the Wildlife Park free of charge upon producing proof of carer status, such as a letter from the Department for Work and Pensions with confirmation and photographic identification. 10.12 All Membership packages purchased are non-exchangeable, non-refundable, and not eligible for resale. We are unable to issue any refunds in the event of adverse weather conditions or any other unforeseeable events which are beyond our reasonable control as per clause 23 (Events Outside Our Control).
ANIMAL ADOPTIONS
11.1 By procuring an animal adoption as advertised on our Website periodically (Adoption), you consent to the terms outlined in this section 11.
11.2 The perks and cost of our Adoption packs for personal use or as a gift are as stated on our Website from time to time. We retain the right to modify or decrease the perks connected to any Adoption package at any point. Adoption pack prices comply with clause 19 (Cost of Services and Delivery/Postal Charges) and must be paid upfront at the time of booking as per clause 21.6.
11.3 When you procure an Adoption, you are purchasing a part (or multiple parts) in an adoption of your preferred animal species, not a specific animal. As such, you are adopting a species as a whole. No animals (individual or species) will be exclusively adopted by a single person.
11.4 Adoption does not suggest ownership, nor does it result in any responsibilities in respect of any adopted animal.
11.5 Each Adoption is valid for a term of 12 months. One month before the conclusion of the initial term and every subsequent 12-month period, we will contact you offering the choice of renewing that Adoption for an additional 12-month period to begin consecutively. Payment for renewals must be made in advance. At the point of each renewal, you will have the option of selecting a different species to adopt. Each 12-month term will begin on the date specified when you applied to procure an Adoption (where practicable) or if no date is specified, the date that we process the Adoption. This date will be stated on your personal certificate which you will receive with your Adoption welcome pack.
11.6 We retain the right to refuse applications for Adoptions at our sole discretion.
11.7 All Adoption packs procured are non-exchangeable, non-refundable, and not eligible for resale.
11.8 Any complimentary admission tickets issued with your Adoption pack such as “Adopters’ Day” tickets are only valid for the specific times printed on the ticket. These tickets are only valid during our standard operational hours (see clause 7 (Operational Hours and Availability)) and do not grant admission to any special events (see clause 14 (Special Events)).
11.9 We do not guarantee that the species you have adopted will be on display or available for public viewing during your visit to the Wildlife Park.
11.10 After procuring an Adoption and receiving email confirmation from us of your purchase, please allow 7 – 10 days for your Adoption welcome pack to arrive by post. Delivery may take longer during busy periods such as Christmas. We shall not be held responsible for any delays in delivery once we have dispatched your Adoption welcome pack.
GIFT VOUCHERS
12.1 When buying any gift voucher advertised on our Site from time to time (Gift voucher), you consent to the terms outlined in this clause 15.
12.2 Excluding clause 11.5 above relating to Adoptions, Gift vouchers are valid for up to 2 calendar years from the date of Confirmation in line with clause 2.4 (How the Contract is Formed Between You and Us). The expiry date will be clearly stated on the front of the Gift Voucher.
12.3 Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash value and are not eligible for resale.
12.4 Gift vouchers can be used for full or part payment for purchases in our restaurants, cafes, shops, or for Park admissions.
12.5 After purchasing a Gift Voucher and receiving Confirmation in line with clause 2.4 (How the Contract is Formed Between Us), please allow around 10 days for the Gift Voucher to arrive by mail. Delivery times may extend during busy periods like Christmas. We will not be held responsible for any delivery delays once dispatched.
EXPERIENCES WITH ANIMALS
13.1 Please note that the mentioned duration of each experience is approximate and may vary on the actual day of your booked encounter.
13.2 The availability of specific experiences such as Penguin, Meerkat, Lemur, Tapir, Deer, Rabbit, Wallaby and all Junior, Mini and Be a Keeper on the dates and is subject to availability. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Your experience is considered booked only when you have received a confirmation email from us.
13.3 Once booked, experiences are non-refundable and cannot be transferred.
13.4 In exceptional circumstances, and at our discretion, the date of your experience can be amended. Changes are subject to availability, can be made only once, and will incur a £20 administration fee. Changes cannot be made less than 1 weeks prior to the experience.
13.5 Exceptional circumstances include severe illness, bereavement, and pregnancy (documented proof may be required). Holidays and other non-emergency commitments do not qualify as exceptional circumstances.
13.6 We reserve the right to ask any participant to leave the park if they behave inappropriately or unsafely, with no refund given.
13.7 Participants in Penguin Experiences must be at least 7 years old, and children (6 – 16 years) must be accompanied by an adult who has purchased park admission or holds a valid membership (1 adult per 1 child)
13.8 Meerkat Experiences, Tortoises Experiences, and Rabbit Experiences are suitable for individuals aged 5 years and above, but children (5 – 15 years) must be accompanied by an adult with park admission or a valid membership (1 adult per 1 child).
13.9 Lemur, Tapir, Deer and Alpaca Experiences are suitable for individuals aged 7 and above. However, children (8 -15 years) must be accompanied by an adult with park admission or a valid membership (1 adult per 1 child).
13.10 Mini Keeper Experiences are designed for children aged 5 to 8 years old, all children (5 – 8 years) must be accompanied by an adult with park admission or a valid membership (1 adult per 1 child).
13.11 Junior Keeper Experiences are designed for children aged 8 to 15 years old, all children (8 – 15 years) must be accompanied by an adult with park admission or a valid membership (1 adult per 1 child).
13.12 Be a Keeper Experiences are designed for people aged 16 years old and above.
13.15 Unfortunately, certain individuals, including those with relevant phobias or known allergies, pregnant women, and immunocompromised individuals, may not participate. People with epilepsy cannot participate in the Penguin Island Experience due to health and safety considerations.
13.16 We strive to accommodate individuals with disabilities or learning difficulties whenever possible, but due to practicality and health and safety, this isn't always feasible. Please contact us for advice before purchasing an experience if you have a medical condition that you believe we should be aware of for your safety. Failure to disclose such information may result in your inability to participate in the experience on the day, with no refund given.
13.17 We reserve the right to reschedule any booked dates for the experiences due to unforeseen circumstances. While we will aim to provide as much notice as possible, we cannot guarantee it. We are unable to cover travel, accommodation, or any other related costs if the scheduled date is cancelled.
13.18 We also reserve the right to modify or cancel an Experience on any given day due to animal welfare concerns, health issues or changes to the park’s collection. In such cases, we will make every effort to replace the activity with a similar task. We will strive to provide as much notice as possible, but please be aware that this cannot always be guaranteed.
13.19 In the event of severe weather, we may need to reschedule the Experiences for another day. For instance, Lemur Experiences may not take place during extremely cold weather when the lemurs are indoors. We will do our best to provide as much notice as possible, but please note that cancellations may occur on the day of your Experience due to factors beyond our control.
13.20 Please note that if you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your pre-booked Experience, we reserve the right to cancel your Experience without rescheduling or providing a refund.
SPECIAL EVENTS
14.1 We occasionally host special events, which will be listed on the “What’s On” page on our Site from time to time (Special Events). These are only available for a limited period, subject to availability. By purchasing any of our Special Events, you agree to the terms set out in this clause 14. For extra terms and conditions regarding individual Special Events, please refer to the relevant booking page, which you accept when making a purchase.
14.2 For Special Event ticket purchases, the definitions set out in clause 4.3 (Tickets) used on our Site shall apply.
14.3 The contents or schedule of each Special Event, along with the prices, are as quoted on our Site from time to time. We reserve the right to reduce or alter the contents or schedule of any Special Event at any time. Special Event prices are in accordance with clause 19 (Price of Services and Delivery/Postal Charges) and must be paid in advance at the time of booking in line with clause 19.6.
14.4 Regular admission tickets, including gift tickets (see clause 4 (Tickets)) are not valid for admission into Special Events. Special Event tickets are only valid for the specific time and date stated in our email Confirmation in line with clause 2.4 (How the Contract is Formed Between You and Us). We reserve the right to transfer the selected and confirmed date to another date at any time or offer you an alternative date and will aim to provide you with as much notice as possible.
14.5 After purchasing a Special Event ticket and receiving Confirmation in line with clause 2.4 (How the Contract is Formed Between Us), please ensure that you bring your ticket with you or collect your ticket where applicable on the date of your chosen Special Event.
14.6 We reserve the right to alter or reschedule any Special Event purchased with or without notice for reasons beyond our control in line with clause 23 (Events Outside Our Control), including but not limited to animal welfare, health and safety, staff shortages, adverse weather or changes to our animal or wildlife collections. However, when altered, we will always aim to replace any purchased Special Event with a similar program to that advertised and keep any changes to a minimum. Please be aware that rescheduling may occur on the same day of your Special Event. We cannot be held liable for any travel, accommodation, or other related costs or expenses in the event that a Special Event is rescheduled.
14.7 The description of each Special Event advertised on our Site, including the duration, serves only as an approximate guide for what you should expect from the program on the day and is subject to change. This will depend on various factors including but not limited to staff availability, weather conditions, the health and wellbeing of the animals or other attractions advertised, and current availability of any complimentary items such as gifts and certificates.
14.8 You must arrive at the designated area of the Zoo for the Special Event at the pre-booked time. If you arrive late, we reserve the right to deny your entry to the Special Event without rescheduling or refund.
14.9 Except as otherwise expressly provided in these Terms, all Special Event tickets purchased are non-exchangeable, non-refundable, and not for resale.
14.10 Regrettably, some visitors will be unable to attend or participate in some of our Special Events (in whole or in part) due to health and safety issues, allergies, phobias, disabilities, or pregnancy. In the event that we do not deem it safe for you to attend or take part in a Special Event, we will provide you with a full refund of the price paid to us for the Special Event.
14.11 While we will do our best to accommodate any visitor with a disability or learning difficulty who has purchased a Special Event, this can't always be achieved for practical and health and safety reasons. Please contact us for advice in this regard before making any purchase.
COMPETITIONS AND GIVEAWAYS
15.1 We may from time to time offer competitions, contests, sweepstakes, or other promotions (collectively, "Competitions") on our Site. These Competitions may be subject to additional terms and conditions that will be made available at the time of such Competitions and will be considered as incorporated into these Terms. By participating in any such Competitions, you agree to be subject to such additional terms and conditions. Please review any additional terms and conditions before participating in any Competitions.
15.2 Unless otherwise stated, our Competitions are open to all individuals who are legal residents in the areas where the Competitions are available. However, employees of our organization, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with the administration of the Competition are not eligible to participate.
15.3 Entry to Competitions is free and no purchase is necessary unless explicitly stated. However, internet connection and usage rates may apply. Entrants should seek the permission of the person paying the bill before entering.
15.4 Only one entry per person is permitted unless otherwise stated in the specific terms and conditions for the Competition.
15.5 We reserve the right to disqualify any entrant if we have reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any provision of these Terms or any applicable law.
15.6 The selection of winners will be conducted in accordance with the specific terms and conditions of the Competition. The winner(s) will be notified as per the procedures outlined in the specific terms and conditions of the Competition.
15.7 In the event of any dispute regarding the Rules, conduct, results, and all other matters relating to a Competition, our decision shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
15.8 By entering the Competition, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your Competition entry, and for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy.
15.9 Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No cash or other alternatives will be offered. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within the required time, we reserve the right to select another winner.
OUR ASSURANCE AND WARRANTY
16.1 This section 16.1 applies to any items or products (Items) that we provide to you as part of any Service ordered on our website, except for perishable goods. If you are dissatisfied with any Item for any reason or you change your mind, you may return them to us at your own expense within 14 calendar days of receipt if you provide us with the proof of purchase. We will, at your discretion, exchange the returned Items or refund you the price you paid for the Item, plus any applicable delivery or postal charges and any reasonable costs you incur in returning the item to us, provided the Item(s) are returned following the guidelines set out in section 16.2.
16.2 If the Item(s) were delivered to you:
(a) you must return the Item(s) to us at Peak Wildlife Park, Winkhill, Leek, Staffordshire, ST13 7QR as soon as reasonably possible along with the original packaging and a copy of your Confirmation (received following the instructions in section 2.4 (How the Contract is Formed Between Us), including a brief description of the fault;
(b) you have a legal obligation to keep the Item(s) in your possession and to take reasonable care of the Item(s) while they are in your possession.
16.3 We assure that any Services we provide to you will be delivered using reasonable care and expertise.
16.4 As a consumer, you will always have legal rights in relation to Items that are faulty or not as described. We are under a legal duty to supply Items that are in conformity with this Contract. These legal rights are not affected by the assurance provided at section 16.1 above, the returns policy in this section 16, or these Terms. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.
YOUR ASSURANCE
By accepting these Terms and purchasing an order for Services on our website, you assure that you:
(a) are at least 18 years of age;
(b) have the ability to enter into a legally binding contract;
(c) have the authority to provide us with payment instructions from a payment card or billing account; and
(d) will not, without Peak Wildlife Park's express authority, use any of our Services for any commercial, business, or resale purposes.
INFORMATION PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
17.1 When you navigate our website, register your details, and order Services on our website, we handle information about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website, you consent to such processing and you assure that all data provided by you is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
OUR RIGHT TO UPDATE THESE TERMS
18.1 We update these Terms periodically. The date these Terms were last updated is indicated at the beginning of these Terms.
18.2 Each time you order Services from us, the Terms in effect at the time of your order will apply to the Contract between you and us.
18.3 We may revise these Terms as they apply to your order from time to time to accommodate the following circumstances:
(a) Changes in how we accept payment from you; and
(b) Changes in applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
COST OF SERVICES AND DELIVERY/SHIPPING FEES
19.1 The prices for the Services (including Items as defined in clause 16.1 (Our Assurance and Warranty) are as indicated on our website from time to time. We take all reasonable measures to ensure that the prices of Services on our website are accurate but, in the event of a pricing error for the Services you ordered, clause 19.5 will apply.
19.2 Prices for our Services may change periodically, but, except in the event of an error to which clause 19.5 applies, changes will not impact any order which we have confirmed with a Confirmation email in accordance with clause 2.4 (How the Contract is Formed Between Us).
19.3 The price of a Service includes VAT (where applicable) at the current rate chargeable in the UK at the time.
19.4 The price of a Service does not include any applicable delivery or postage fees unless otherwise specified. Where delivery or postage fees apply, they will be as quoted on our website from time to time on the relevant booking page.
19.5 Despite our best efforts, it's possible that some of the Services on our site may be incorrectly priced. In this case:
(a) If the correct price of the Service is lower than the price stated on our website, we will charge the lower amount; and
(b) If the correct price of the Service is higher than the price stated on our website, we will contact you by email at the address provided when placing your order as soon as possible to inform you of this error. We will give you the option of continuing to purchase the Service at the correct price or cancelling your order. We will not process your order until we have your instructions. If we are unable to reach you using the contact details you provided during the order process within a reasonable timeframe, we will treat the order as cancelled and notify you by email.
19.6 Payment for all of our Services online must be made at the time of the transaction using a debit or credit card. We accept the following cards: American Express, Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro all cards on Discover® Global Network.
SHIPPING
20.1 This clause is applicable when you've ordered a Service on our website that involves delivery of Items (as defined under clause 16.1 (Our Assurance and Warranty)), including but not limited to Gift Tickets (see clause 4.13 (Tickets)), Adoptions (see clause 11 (Adoptions)), and Gift Vouchers (see clause 12).
20.2 Your order will be completed within the estimated delivery period indicated in the Confirmation, in accordance with clause 2.4 (How the Contract is Formed between Us), unless there's an Event Outside Our Control as outlined in clause 23 (Events Outside Our Control). If we can't meet the estimated delivery date due to an Event Outside Our Control, we will contact you with a revised estimated delivery date.
20.3 Delivery is considered complete when we deliver the Items to the address you provided during your order.
20.4 The Items will become your responsibility from the moment of delivery completion.
20.5 You will gain ownership of the Items once we've received full payment, which includes all applicable delivery or postal charges.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
21.1 If you order Items from our website for delivery to a destination outside of the United Kingdom, your order might be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. Please note that we have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount.
21.2 You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
21.3 You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the Items are destined. We won't be liable or responsible if you violate any such law.
OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
22.1 If we fail to abide by these Terms, we are accountable for loss or damage you endure that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence, but we aren't responsible for any loss or damage that isn't foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was an obvious outcome of our breach or if it was considered by you and us when we entered into the Contract.
22.2 Our Services are only supplied for domestic and private usage. You agree not to use our Services for any commercial, business or resale purposes, and we bear no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
22.3 We don't in any way exclude or limit our liability for:
(a) Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
(b) Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
(c) Any breach of the terms implied by section 12 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (title and quiet possession);
(d) Breach of the terms implied by sections 13, 14 and 15 of the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (description, satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and samples);
(e) Defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987;
(f) Any breach of the terms implied by section 2 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 (title and quiet possession); and
(g) Any breach of the terms implied by section 3, 4 and 5 of the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 (description, satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and samples).
CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
23.1 We will not be held liable or accountable for any failure to fulfil, or delay in fulfilling, any of our commitments under a Contract that is caused by a Circumstance Beyond Our Control. A Circumstance Beyond Our Control is defined below in clause 23.2.
23.2 A Circumstance Beyond Our Control refers to any occurrence or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation infectious disease epidemics (such as among animals at the park), strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks or impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport.
23.3 If a Circumstance Beyond Our Control occurs that impacts the performance of our commitments under a Contract:
(a) we will connect with you as soon as reasonably feasible to inform you; and
(b) our commitments under a Contract will be paused and the time for performance of our commitments will be extended for the duration of the Circumstance Beyond Our Control. Where the Circumstance Beyond Our Control affects our delivery of Items to you (see clause 22 (Delivery)), we will arrange a new delivery date with you after the Circumstance Beyond Our Control is over.

24.1 When we mention "in writing" in these Terms, this includes e-mail communication.
24.2 If for any reason you need to contact us in writing, you can do this by e-mail or by pre-paid post to Peak Wildlife Park at Winkhill, Leek ST13 7QR or info@peakwildlifepark.co.uk. You can also reach us through our Customer Services telephone line at 01538 308 880. For contacting a specific department, please use the contact form on our website.
24.3 If we need to contact you or provide you with written notice, we will do so by e-mail or by pre-paid post to the address you supplied to us in your order.
ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT DETAILS
25.1 We may assign our rights and responsibilities under a Contract to another institution, but this will not impact your rights or our commitments under these Terms. We will always inform you about such changes on this webpage.
25.2 You can only transfer your rights or your obligations under these Terms to another individual if we consent in writing. However, if you have bought a Service as a gift, you may transfer the benefits of our warranties in clause 16 to the recipient of the gift without needing our approval.
25.3 This Contract is between you and us. No other individual shall have any rights to enforce any of its conditions, whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties Act) 1999 or otherwise. However, the recipient of your gift of a Service will have the benefit of our warranties at clause 16, but we and you will not need their agreement to cancel or make any modifications to these Terms.
25.4 Each of the paragraphs of these Terms operates independently. If any court or relevant authority determines that any of them are illegal or unenforceable, the remaining paragraphs will continue in full force and effect.
25.5 If we fail to demand that you perform any of your responsibilities under these Terms, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any subsequent default by you.
25.6 Please note that these Terms are governed by English law. This means a Contract for the purchase of Services through our site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it will be governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may

Christmas at Peak Wildlife Park Terms & Conditions
Kindly ensure to arrive on site at least 30 minutes prior to your booking to allow sufficient time for check-in and to reach the entrance.
26.1 Please be at the Entrance to Santa’s Grotto no later than 5 Minutes before your scheduled time. This event often sells out, and if you miss your slot, we won't be able to accommodate you at a different time. Remember to bring your tickets with you, either printed or on a phone.
26.2 Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Management reserves the right to refuse admission.
26.3 All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
26.4 Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be re-sold or handed over to a third party.
26.5. We can adjust your bookings for a fee of £1.95 per chargeable ticket, provided at least 7 days notice is given. Should you select a date with a higher ticket price, you'll be required to cover the difference in addition to the amendment fee.
26.6 To amend your booking, please call us at 01538 308 880. If no one is available to take your call, feel free to email us at info@peakwildlifepark.co.uk. In the email, provide your booking number, desired new date and time, and your contact number. Absence of this information will render us unable to process the change.
26.7 Bookings cannot be amended with less than 7 days notice.
(A) Each ticket includes a £3.50 non-refundable booking fee; in the case of a refund, this fee will be deducted from the amount reimbursed to you.
26.8 Keep in mind you are visiting a wildlife park. It's crucial to wear clothing and footwear suitable for the season! Staying waterproof and warm is essential, and boots/wellies are recommended.
26.9 Availability of animal exhibits and play areas are subject to prevailing weather conditions.
(A)Certain sections of the park may be closed based on ground conditions.
26.10 We reserve the right to cancel or postpone the booking due to unforeseen circumstances.
26.11 We also reserve the right to close attractions or amend the timetable without prior notice.
26.12 If the booking is cancelled owing to circumstances beyond our control, where possible, we will reschedule to another date of our choice. However, BB Zoo Ltd will not be responsible for any other costs incurred.
Valentine's Day Special Offer - 2 for 1 Experience Terms and Conditions
Offer Description: The Valentine's Day "2 for 1" Special Offer (hereafter referred to as "the Offer") allows the purchaser to bring an extra participant at no additional cost when they book any of our eligible individual experiences. This Offer is exclusive to individual experiences and does not apply to group experiences.
Eligibility: The Offer is open to all customers aged 18 years and above. All participants must meet the specific age and health requirements of the chosen experience.
Offer Period: The Offer is valid for purchases made from 24th January until 14th February, ending at midnight (local time) on the 14th of February.
Redemption Period: All experiences purchased under this Offer must be redeemed by the 31st of December, 2024. Any experiences not redeemed by this date will be considered void.
Booking: Bookings for experiences under this Offer are subject to availability. We recommend booking well in advance to ensure your preferred date and time are available.
Cancellation and Rescheduling: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least [specific number of days] days prior to the booked experience date. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the Offer.

Polar Bear Experiance raffle
Eligibility: The raffle is open to individuals who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees of the organising body are not eligible to enter.
Raffle Period: The raffle begins on the 1st of Feburary 2024 and ends on 29 February 2024 at 11:59pm. Entries submitted after this date will not be considered.
Entry Procedure: To enter the raffle, participants must purchase raffle tickets. Each ticket purchased constitutes one entry into the raffle. Participants may purchase multiple tickets to increase their chances of winning.
Prize Description: The winner will receive the Polar Bear Experience for two people. The experience is educational and interactive, contributing to the awareness of polar bear conservation.
Prize Redemption: The Polar Bear Experience will be available for redemption later in the year when it becomes available to the public. The exact dates of availability will be communicated to the winner directly. The organising body reserves the right to modify the redemption period.
Winner Selection: Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries after the closing date of the raffle. The decision of the organising body is final and binding.
Notification: Winners will be contacted directly via the contact information provided at the time of ticket purchase. If a winner cannot be contacted or is unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
Liability and Indemnity: By entering the raffle, participants agree to release and hold harmless the organising body and its affiliates from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from participation in the raffle and/or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.
Privacy: Personal information collected from participants will be used only for the purpose of administering the raffle and notifying the winner, unless otherwise agreed upon by the participant.
Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the raffle is held. Disputes arising from the raffle will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
Raffle Amendments: The organising body reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the raffle for any reason without notice.
Acceptance of Terms and Conditions: Participation in the raffle constitutes the participant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
